320px / hospitality and e-commerce
TORTUGA: one website for a restaurant, hotel and delivery.
The 320px team develops the technical foundation of an active WordPress website: validating the delivery catalog and cart, improving performance, centralizing contacts and preserving working flows after every change.
The task
One website combines several business areas: a restaurant, a hotel, menus and delivery. Phone numbers, opening hours and contact routes must stay consistent while the catalog, cart and checkout remain isolated from changes in neighboring sections.
What the team implemented
Delivery
Product category checks, AJAX add-to-cart, cart and checkout testing, old menu route fixes and preservation of WooCommerce sessions.
Shared contacts
A dedicated administration screen for phone numbers, WhatsApp, Telegram and opening hours for the restaurant, hotel and delivery.
Performance and SEO
HTML caching with cart exclusions, lazy loading, media optimization, metadata, H1 handling and targeted 301 redirects.
Security and releases
Service-file hardening, security headers, backups and final smoke tests without placing a real order or using customer data.
What this project demonstrates
- Contacts for several business areas are easier to manage from one place.
- E-commerce caching cannot be configured without validating the cart and user session.
- Image optimization must preserve the first screen and mobile navigation.
- A test journey stops before real payment and does not create a customer order.
